Scope and effective date

Effective 11 October 2026. This policy covers emilymaydesigner.com, an independent home editorial website published as Emily May Designer. Privacy enquiries can be addressed to hello@emilymaydesigner.com.

You can read our articles without creating an account. We do not operate newsletter sign-ups, reader comment forms, advertising trackers or audience analytics on this website.

Information involved in visiting the site

Cloudflare Pages provides hosting and delivery for the website. Delivering and protecting a web page involves technical request information, which may include an IP address, requested URL, timestamp and browser or device information. Cloudflare may process this information for service operation and security. We do not use hosting or security information to build advertising profiles.

Cloudflare's own handling of service information is described at https://www.cloudflare.com/policies/privacy/. Its retention periods and processing arrangements depend on the applicable service and purpose; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for provider logs.

If you choose to email

An email you send may contain your address, name, message and any attachments you choose to include. To the extent an enquiry is received and handled, that information is used to consider the enquiry, respond where appropriate and maintain a necessary correspondence record. We do not add an enquirer to a marketing list.

Please share only information relevant to your question. Correspondence should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, an associated dispute or a legal obligation. The presence of a contact address on the site is not a guarantee of receipt or response.
